About

Today the only way to come and work in Italy legally and regularly is through article 23 of law 286/1998 by learning to speak the Italian language.
Format is one of the main organizations in Italy capable of carrying out this activity by selecting, training and certifying people in Bangladesh and Tunisia on a recurring basis for Italian companies that operate mainly in the manufacturing, textile and hospitality sectors.
This Italian language teaching portal was created to allow Format to have a pool of people appropriately trained in their country (Bangladesh or Tunisia) to propose to Italian companies and nominate them to come and work legally and regularly in Italy.

Article 23 of the Consolidated Law on Immigration (Legislative Decree 286/1998) concerns the planning of the entry flows of foreign workers for subordinate work reasons. Every year, the Italian Government establishes with a decree the so-called “flow decrees”, that is, the maximum number of foreign citizens who can legally enter Italy to work.
In short, Article 23 aims to regulate and plan the migratory flow, taking into account the needs of the Italian labor market and promoting controlled and regular migration.
Certification of knowledge of the Italian language (at least A2 level of the Common European Framework) is required for various reasons:
Long-term residence permit: It is mandatory to obtain the EU residence permit for long-term residents (formerly residence card).
Work and social integration: Knowing Italian facilitates social and work integration in Italy.
Pre-departure training courses: Some entry programs for foreign workers include language and professional training courses already in the country of origin, such as Bangladesh, to facilitate adaptation to the Italian context.
In particular, certification can be requested from Bangladeshi citizens who want to move to Italy for work or family reunification reasons. This requirement is to ensure that they have the basic language skills needed to live in Italy and interact with institutions.
